News Window
Each news article has at least one keyword. The left column contains the first (main) keyword. This keyword is used in filtering. A list of most common keywords can be founf in appendix.
The next column contains time when this artile was received by the server. The time is shown as day-hour:minute on 24-hour clock.
The next column contains the news title.
There is a keyword filter on the bottom of the window. When this line is blank (default), the news window displays all news. If you want to skip some of the articles, type the keyword you want to filter against with prepended minus sign. For example, if the filter line contains "-ECONOMY" (without the quotation marks), all news with the keyword ECONOMY will not be displayed. Symbol * is equivalent of any keyword. If the filter line has "-* +AFX", only news with AFX keyword will be displayed. The picture above shows filter for displaying the news with keywords MNSS and AFX.
The filter can contain any number of keywords separated by spaces or commas. When changed, filter will affect only the new coming articles. The existing list of news articles is not affected by changed filter.
If you want to read the body of a message, double click the title. A new window will pop up:
