During the initial launching of the AFMCharts the Quote Spread Sheet and News windows will also be displayed.
Quote Spread Sheet window
The Quote Spread Sheet window displays information on current market quotations. Red color marks decreasing values and green increasing ones. The grey background will mean unchanged quotation.
The first column (on the left) contains the tickers, the following one displays LAST, farther down the line you will find BID and ASK.
If you would like to obtain quotations for any other instruments, enter the relevant code in an empty field in the left column and press Enter. To remove an instrument from the table, erase the ticker and press Enter.
The upper left hand corner of the Quote Spread Sheet displays current time (Central European, which is two hours behind Moscow, one hour ahead of London, 6 hours ahead of New York).
The News window displays the current news headlines in real time.
News window
If you are interested in a particular article, you can open it by double clicking the headline. The left column displays the main keyword of the article, the middle one shows the time when the article was received (in the day-hour:minutes format) and the right one displays the headline.
