AFMChartsTM will run on any computer supporting Java version 1.1. AFMCharts was tested under most popular browsers on MS Windows 95, 98, ME, Windows NT 4.0, 4.5, Windows 2000, Windows XP, Apple Macintosh PPC, Linux, FreeBSD, Solaris.

AFMCharts will have quite modest demands to the processing power of your computer. To feel yourself at ease, it is enough to have a 600 MHz Intel Pentium or an equally fast processor. Should your computer be slower, some of the functions of the AFMCharts will be performed with delays, although almost all of them will still be available.

Most of the AFMCharts functions are called by right-clicking the mouse, therefore a two-button mouse is required for normal work. If you can't use a two-button mouse (such as MAC users), the right button can be emulated by pushing SHIFT on the keyboard along with the left button.

AFMCharts doesn't need a very fast Internet connection. After loading the charts, market monitoring and server exchange will take fewer than 100 bytes per second, that is, any, even the slowest connection will suffice. The initial chart loading could be very slow at low connection speed, though. The size of one chart is about 8 kilobytes, that is if you have a 14.4 KBit/s connection, loading of one chart will take not less than 5 seconds.
