The most convenient way to add a window is to press Clone in the right bottom corner of another window:
It would create an exact copy of the original window.
If you do not have open chart windows, enter ticker and period in the field (1) and press Add Chart button in Login Pannel (1):

A 5-minute chart of the euro - US dollar rate will be added in the example above (Figure 2). If period is ommited, the default period of M5 will be used.
