Q: I enter correct password, but get an error message "Invalid user name or password". Why?
A: The most frequent reason for this error is entering password in a national character set instead of Latin. The next most frequent error is typing number "0" instead of letter "O" and vice versa, as well as letter "l" instead of number "1" and so on. If you are trying to login to a demo or contest account, make sure that the account is still valid. If you are certain that you enter the login name and password correctly and the account is still valid, please contact technical support.
Q: I am using an HTML version of the terminal. I enter login and password, press enter, but terminal returns to the login page without giving any error message.
A: It happens if:
- You work through Proxy Server. Fix the proxy.
- Support for cookies is disabled in your browser. Enable cookies
Q: Can I manage my account by phone in case of emergency?
A: If you have a real account you can call our dealer and he will close your positions.
Q: AFMDealer says: "Market is closed" but I know that Forex market is open 24 hours a day. How come?
A: Forex is not actively traded from 00:00 Saturday until 03:00 Monday as well as during European and North American holidays. You can find notifications about such events in the news and in the newsgroup akmos.en.announce. If you are trying to open a position in the trading contest, make sure there a running contest.
Q: I am opening a new position in HTML terminal: get a quote, confirm it, but the new position does not appear in the list and I get a message "Unconfirmed order cancelled" Why?
A: In the HTML version of AFMDealer you have to confirm the quote within 5 seconds after it appears on your screen. These 5 seconds also include Internet travel time of your confirmation. If your answer was not received within this period of time the dealer concludes that the quote was rejected.
Another reason couple be that sometimes the secure protocol HTTPS malfunctions. It often happens due to poor connection quality or a misconfigured proxy server. This problem can be corrected by any one of the following:

Q: You have two versions of AFMSystem - Java and HTML. Which one should be used?
A: Java version should be used whenever possible. It works much faster, it's less demanding for connection speed and quality, has greater functionality. HTML AFMDealer should be used only if Java version does not work for technical or administrative reasons (for example, direct TCP connections disabled).
